Østeuropa er den østlige del af Europa.

I lang tid har definitionen været de lande, der var underlagt Warszawapagten, men grænsen har med Sovjetunionens kollaps og EU's udvidelse flyttet sig længere østpå. I dag vil man typisk karakterisere Rusland, Polen, Hviderusland, Ukraine og Moldavien som østeuropæiske lande.

Østeuropas østgrænse er ved Uralbjergene, og sydgrænsen er ved Kaukasus.
