  • Der bor en Breivik i os alle

    Anders Breivik må være psykopat, tænker man umiddelbart, når billederne af terrorhandlingen i Norge ruller over tv-skærmen. Men årtiers forskning viser, at helt normale mennesker kan ledes til at begå overgreb og mord på linje med Breiviks. Forudsætningen er blot, at en autoritet overbeviser dem om, at det er samfundstjenligt

  • Når alting flyder

    Hvordan indrettes et uddannelsessystem med læseplaner og pædagogiske metoder i et samfund under konstant forandring? Pædagogik har traditionelt været bygget op omkring en verdens-opfattelse præget af det konstante og ønsket om at bringe kulturen videre til næste generation. Men hvad er der at viderebringe? Og kan de bruge den ældre generations tankegods og værdier?

  • Selvtilstrækkeligheden splitter samfundet

    Bag klar-dig-selv-paroler har middelklassen bevilget sig skattelettelser. Samfundets prioriteringer kan aflæses på de fælles institutioners forfald. De, der ikke klarer sig, ekskluderes og marginaliseres. Før i tiden kendte vi alle nogen fra andre klasser og andre kvarterer. Det er snart slut

Zygmunt Bauman (født 19. november 1925 i Poznań, Polen) er en polsk sociolog nu bosiddende i Leeds, England.

I 1992 modtog Bauman den europæiske Amalfipris for sociologi og samfundsvidenskab, og i 1998 modtog han Adorno-prisen.
