Southampton er en by i Hampshire på Englands sydkyst. Byen har ca. 215.000 indbyggere. Southampton er en vigtig havneby for krydstogtskibe, bl.a. stævnede Titanic ud fra byen.

For romerne var byen en vigtig handelsby, der gik under navnet Clausentum.
