São Paulo [] (port. for Sankt Paul) er hovedstad i São Paulo-delstaten i Brasilien. Byen er det vigtigste økonomiske, finansielle og kulturelle centrum, såvel som trafikknudepunkt i landet. Det financielle centrum er på Paulista Avenue.
São Paulo er det største industrielle område i Latinamerika. Med sine 11 millioner indbyggere i byen, og knapt 20 millioner i stor-São Paulo er byen en af verdens største byer og den største by på den sydlige halvkugle.
Byen har med sine mange indvandrere, der især kommer fra Portugal, Italien, Tyskland, Libanon, Japan og Sydkorea,
et multikulturelt præg.
Byens største fodboldklub er São Paulo FC, og de spiller hjemme på Morumbi, som har plads til 80.000 tilskuere.
