 Guangzhou + (også kendt som Canton, Kanton) er en af de vigtigste af Folkerepublikken Kinas storbyer. Den er hovedstad i provinsen Guangdong ved Folkerepublikkens kyst mod det Sydkinesiske Hav. Provinsen omfatter egentlig også de særlige administrative regioner Hongkong og Macao. Befolkningen indenfor bygrænsen anslås (2004) til 3.244.000, men hele storbyområdet har 6,66 millioner indbyggere.
